As I have mentioned in previous posts, the creation of photographic projects on a particular topic, or idea, is a creative process that encourages us to power our imagination, and makes us look for less obvious looks.
In the autumn/winter season, when the weather is less inviting to take advantage of certain places, I am referring specifically to the beach, the ‘strange’ beauty of your empty can be a creative reason for a photographic project.
That’s what I tried to do in recent months in some beaches of the Estoril Coast.
This project called Empty! is exactly the first feeling I get when I visit these places in colder times, a feeling of emptiness, not necessarily negative, on contrary, looking for the sense of empty space, in contrast to the times when they are invaded by tourists.
And a photographic project must be this, the feeeling transmission, the vision, the photographer has when approaches the theme, go beyond explicit image, and try to share the feeling, the emotion.
The photos illustrating this post are some of the project photos, which integrates not only the beach itself, but also the infrastructure closely linked to the beach. Is a project that I never know if it’s over or not, because the next Winter could be a new source of inspiration for go further.
I hope you enjoy
Kisses and hugs.
